The November meeting

 

of the Ohio Chapter of SGSI will feature two prominent Slovenian guest speakers.   We invite all SGSI members and interested individuals to attend this informative genealogical program.  Featured speakers include:

 

            DR. STANISLAV JUZNIC, noted Slovenian historian who will unveil his new book, From Wildwood and Back - The Development of Gottscheer Land and Nearby Valleys of Osilnica, Suchen, and Polland from 1498-2009.  Dr. Juznic is also the author of the book, History of Kostel 1500-1900 Between Two Civilizations, which is the book SGSI translated to English.  Both books will be for sale at this meeting.

 

            PETER HAWLINA, President of Slovenia’s genealogy society, who will be in Cleveland on Monday, November 9 and will be available that day from 10 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and from 6:30-9:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, November 10 from10 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Museum.
